Krystian graduated from the Wroclaw University of Technology (Poland) in 2006 with an MSc degree in electronics and telecommunications. Then, he joined the Lasers and Photonics Applications group at Heriot-Watt University as a PhD student. Krystian'۪s PhD research studies involved CO2 laser micro-machining of optical glasses (such as fused silica, Borofloat'33, and lead-silicate glasses) and investigating new applications for CO2 laser polishing. He graduated with a PhD degree in June 2011. Currently, Krystian is a Research Associate within the High Power Laser Application group at Heriot-Watt University where he works on a project involving adaptive optics for laser processing of metals and optical glasses.
Dr Krystian L. Wlodarczyk is (or has formerly been) affiliated with Applied Optics and Photonics Research, Heriot Watt University and Heriot-Watt University.
