Dr Stuart Speakman is a serial inventor and innovator with substantial commercial awareness and extensive high technology research, design, and development experience in thin film science technology and manufacturing.
Stuart Speakman has over 30 years of experience in thin film technology and is interested in low temperature coating methods for roll-to-plate and roll-to-roll manufacturing as applied to transparent conducting films, thin film transistor circuits, solar energy conversion, resistive random access memory, advanced sensors, and flexible displays. Stuart also has extensive experience in thin coating patterning methods including printing and laser ablation.
Stuart is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (FIET) and is a Chartered Engineer (CEng). He is also a director of a company in the field of thin film micropatterning.
Dr. Stuart Speakman is (or has formerly been) affiliated with Cambridge University and Photonics and Sensors Group, University of Cambridge.
