Our group works on the fabrication of devices and sensors based on optical fibre nano-/micro-wires, fibre tapers and couplers, and on the design and fabrication of fibre sensors for X-ray detection. Our particular interest is in devices and sensors based on resonators (Q~105-106). We have the capability of working with both silica and with compound glasses.
